Biodiversity Unit - Research Project Note
Dec 2016: The endangered species mini-research mini-poster will lead us into a discussion of biodiversity. Please start your research at the IUCN Red List http://www.iucnredlist.org/ and take it from there! Be sure to put all information into your OWN WORDS and cite ALL sources used to complete your project. Exemplary samples from previous years have been shown to guide you. Art supplies will be made available in class. Make it informative and eye-catching as these will be displayed in class. Have fun with it!!!

March 2017: As you work in teams, consider creating shared Google docs so everyone has access to the research, photos, and the source list. It's a good idea to keep a work report log (simple: with item and time spent) for everyone to see. Be sure to carry your part! Remember you are trying to deliver an impassioned presentation about your biome that conveys to your audience the importance of saving your biome! We will vote at the end of all presentations for the biome you feel is most worthy of saving. Although you have hard copies of all documents, the project rubric is attached here. Be sure to evaluate each item carefully to ensure you are maximizing your score potential. Good luck and have fun with this!
